Daniel is one of the most unusual prophets of the Hebrew Scriptures, and the prophecies that God gave him are also unique. Three prophecies have been completely fulfilled. We are actually living in two of prophecies right now. And, two prophecies have been broken in half, with the first part fulfilled and the second part to be fulfilled when the Antichrist rises.

In fact, Daniel is the only prophet who actually speaks about the person of the Antichrist. And outside of Daniel, only Isaiah and Zechariah make any reference to the Great Tribulation.

This makes Daniel a VERY unique book.

Daniel 12 – A Biblical Overview Of Daniel, Part 11

Daniel 12 is the capstone that tells us how to interpret Daniel 11:21-45. It tells us when the Resurrection will be. It tells us that some in the kingdom of God will suffer shame and everlasting contempt in the First Resurrection – just as Jesus told us in His parables. It also tells us how long the Great Tribulation will be.

This is why chapter 12 is a vital part of End Times prophecy. It neutralizes false eschatology. It shows us the direction that we should be looking.

Unfortunately, there are many who do not wish to understand Daniel 12, for it demolishes their carefully crafted idol that they have created by twisting the words of God into something that He does not say.

Daniel 10 – A Biblical Overview Of Daniel, Part 8

Daniel 10 is the introduction to the last prophecy given to Daniel. And, in many respects this vision is the most important one, because it shows us an Israel that has been Redeemed, who the Antichrist is, what the conditions are like in the Land of Israel, how long the Great Tribulation is, and when the Resurrection occurs.

All of that is a powerful message to end the Book of Daniel with. And, it’s even more powerful because Jesus told us to pay attention to it, and we aren’t.
