If you are like me, you love reading your Bible. I’ve been reading it cover-to-cover for 40 years, and it has been a tremendous blessing to my life. It showed me mistakes that I’ve made. It convinced me to make changes in my life. It spoke of God’s glorious promises that He would be with us always, if we follow Him. And, when I discovered the One Year Bible format, it greatly improved everything about this experience.
The print versions are great, and I still have several of them on my bookshelf. But, lugging them around is hard. So, I decided to put them on my phone. But, most aren’t so simple to use. That’s when I decided to develop my own apps that don’t require an Internet connection and don’t contain ads.
I use this app every day, and I love it.

Every time you launch the app, that day’s reading portion will give you a passage from the Hebrew Scriptures, the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs.
If you miss a day, you can always go back and read it, but for those who are just beginning this journey, it is recommended that you keep moving forward and not worry about what you missed. The important thing is to build a long-term routine of reading your Bible every day.
I’m also thinking of creating other kinds of apps that might be interesting. We’ll see. As always, I will try to stick with the keep-it-simple design philosophy of tap-and-go.

Again, it is so important for everyone to read the Bible. I cannot emphasize this enough. As the first part of Hosea 4:6 says:
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee…
The knowledge of God and His words are vital for your spiritual growth, so I hope that this app will help you learn more about God and what He wants for us.
