When General Motta Gur cried out to the world, “הר הבית בידינו!” (The Temple mount is in our hands!), the world was changed forever. Nothing and no one would be the same. And the world was in a state of complete shock.
How is it possible that this could have happened?
For almost two thousand years, at every Passover, the Jews have said to each other “לשנה הבאה בירושלים,” Next year in Jerusalem. It was their heart’s desire, and now it was possible. And our theologians didn’t know what to say.
For years, I’ve been asking hard questions about how much energy we have left to extract and process. This is a tough question to answer, and it’s also one that people do not want to answer.
If you are paid to produce oil, you will not want to tell people when that oil will be no longer available. You even convince yourself that we will never run out. This is all too human, and completely irresponsible.
However, there are times when the information that you need leaks out. And, the news is catastrophic. It’s more proof that our civilization is ending.
Over the years, I’ve fended off one theory after another about who controls what and how they control it. Central bankers. Big Tech. Big government. Being chipped. The Antichrist is this that or the other and definitely around the corner. Or even bad actors like the three letter agencies.
Unfortunately, people who promote these ideas and others like them have forgotten something very, very important:
Power can’t touch you, if it can’t reach you.
What is happening now is the unraveling of our civilization and the ability of government to govern. Globalism has already died, and just doesn’t know it yet.
On Friday, I received news that I was hoping not to hear. At least, not for this year or any number of years after that. This news will take peace from the Earth, and that phrase should be familiar to you since that is the job of:

And, the news that I was so reluctant to hear?
Saudi Arabia has hit its maximum oil production level at 12 million barrels a day.
You might not think that this is such a big problem, but you’ll understand why it’s big – when we’re finished talking about it.
After getting both books out a month ago, I went looking for what other people believe about Last Days. It has been a fascinating journey through some really bad eschatology. Worse, very few seem to understand why they believe what they believe, and even fewer seem able to understand why people would disagree with their position. That’s bad.
Our pastors have not been giving us the tools to help us understand the Bible, to rightly divide the word of Truth (2 Tim 2:15). And, because we are unable to do so, Christianity has devolved into a team sport, where ours is always right and yours is heresy.
